Awareness 3: Inktober

A post shared by SmilePower (@_smile_power_) on Oct 2, 2017 at 1:55pm PDT

Every year during October, artists take the challenge to use ink to create art everyday. I tried doing this this month,  but was interrupted by my sketchbook due date. Every artist takes a different approach to this-- some do calligraphy, some use the same ink everyday, some use markers-- but of all those that I saw, this one stood out to me the most. It was a combination of skull-a-day with Inktober and turned out really nice. I was not able to embed more than one Instagram post on here, so I had to pick from my favorites. I really hope that next year I will have the time to fill a notebook with this much quality of an Inktober challenge, but this year I even wrote in my sketchbook "Inktober: will there be enough time" so I won't know until then.
